About Be-Life Community

A not-for-profit organisation dedicated to transforming lives through nature connection

Be-Life Community CIC exists to improve wellbeing, strengthen connections, and create inclusive spaces where people can thrive. We believe in the transformative power of nature and community to heal, inspire, and empower.

Our Mission

Through our work at Echo Valley and across Wales, we're building a movement that puts mental health, environmental stewardship, and social connection at its heart.

Not-for-Profit

As a Community Interest Company, we reinvest all our resources back into our mission, ensuring maximum impact for the communities we serve.

Community-Led

Our programmes and activities are shaped by the needs and voices of our community members, ensuring relevance and accessibility.

Nature-Centered

We harness the healing power of the natural world, using outdoor spaces as our classroom, therapy room, and community hub.

Our Values

These core values guide everything we do and shape the culture of our community

Connection

We believe in reconnecting people - to themselves, to others, and to the natural world. True wellbeing grows through belonging and shared experience.

Nature as Healer

Nature is our greatest therapist. We harness its power to restore balance, calm the mind, and nurture emotional and physical health.

Inclusion & Belonging

Everyone deserves a place to feel seen, valued, and supported. We create safe, inclusive spaces where all walks of life are welcome.

Empowerment

We help people find strength and confidence through hands-on, nature-based experiences - encouraging self-growth and resilience.

Community Spirit

We grow stronger together. Our projects are rooted in collaboration, shared purpose, and collective wellbeing.

Sustainability

We care for the planet as we care for people - promoting environmental stewardship and mindful living.

Authenticity

We lead with heart and honesty, creating genuine connections grounded in compassion and respect.

Our Impact

Together and with the support of The Woodland Trust we have planted a diverse range of 180 native broadleaf trees at Echo Valley, creating safe habitats where wildlife, ecology, and biodiversity can thrive.

Community gathering around campfire
  • Installed bird and bat boxes throughout the woodland to support local species and encourage a healthy ecosystem.
  • Established a community food-growing garden - a welcoming space where volunteers come together to connect, grow, and share experiences.
  • Introduced a thriving bee colony to boost pollination, support local food production and educate our community.
  • Created a dedicated bushcraft and education space to teach, inspire, and promote sustainable living skills.
  • We have built a strong volunteer community rooted in inclusion, wellbeing, and mutual support.
  • Built safe indoor and outdoor nature-based spaces for team-building, workshops and therapy sessions.
  • We have custom designed and built compost toilets – taking another step toward our vision of permaculture and self-sustainability.
  • Organised regular social meet-ups to build connection, reduce isolation, and create a sense of belonging for those who need it most.
